I know the title to this post is weird, but it's true. I'm paranoid.
I first heard John's 5-note motif at the tender age of 3 with my mom and it terrified me!
It was like being a dog and having someone play a dog whistle.
it was 1983,and ABC just aired the film of tv for the first time.
I heard it while sitting on her lap as she braided my hair.
I don't know why those notes scare me,but they do.
Maybe it's the certain pitch or the timing, but everytime I get chills down my spine.
They've played in the back of my mind too for 29 years after!
Sometimes I can't sleep for hearing the notes playing repeatedly in my mind.
I can't even enjoy this movie without hearing those notes and turning white as a sheet.
I've been to a shrink about it,and she was shocked I'd be scared of something as this.
Am I the only one? Can anyone explain why I'm so scared of something s epic?
And worst I avoid the other movie Moonraker too and don't buy the soundtrack or anything with the 5-notes in it.
When I do hear the notes now I try and hear another sound, but it's still very hard to bare.
