Hi there, people!

I have now listended the whole DANNY ELFMAN'S HULK, and I can only say that this other piece of work of DANNY ELFMAN has been done right.

A few tracks like PROLOGUE, MAKING ME ANGRY, GENTLE GIANT, THE PHONE CALL, END CREDITS reminds me a bit the scores SPIDER-MAN and PLANETS OF THE APES. The unique and magnificent MAIN TITLES has captured quickly my attention as I first heared it. One of my favorite track is also the action cue CAPTURED. New but always usual and typical DANNY ELFMAN action music. The female vocals of Natacha Atlas is simply beautiful and effectfull. Sure, it's not SPIDER-MAN or SLEEPY HOLLOW of course. I love the SPIDER-MAN score. It's brighter and not melodramatic such as HULK actually is. But HULK and SPIDER-MAN have their own different stories and therefore their own music idendity. They are similar but still different and unique in their style. And I think DANNY ELFMAN has created again a well done and enjoyable music score for the HULK, as he usually does for every filmscore.

With each listen of this music I discover new sides of this album, and that's it, I think, what makes a score interesting to hear.

Many greetings

Logan
