"A New Beginning", in my opinion, is a good way to end a score such as the one written for Minority Report. While the rest of the score is filled with such pulsating action sequences as "Anderton's Great Escape", and many the many suspenseful tracks that accomodate most of the score's middle, it was a relief to come to the end of the album with a gentle perfromance by a string ensemble. While I do not particularly like the theme used in this track, I think that it made for a good finish to this powerful score, and it is a shame that more action scores like it do not end in the same gentle fashion.
