Okay, aside from the lightsaber fight at the end, the movie stunk. The score is at least better than Episode II, which aslo stunk. I will say that the music from the Phantom menace did have a few exciting and slighlty rousing themes and new renditions. However, if you compare this new junk to the great scores that Williams has done in the past, it doesn't compare. I suppose I am just a conservative Star Wars fan but can you blame me? Midi Chlorians, tiny creatures swimming around in my blood = the force...Oups! I blew up a star ship, Jar Jar Binks...need I say more? Thanks George, you ruined it.

Episode III arrived in American theaters in mid May of 2005. The original date of the post was in April 2005. Obviously at that point in time I had not seen the movie since it had not come out yet in theaters. It is clear good sir that you failed to notice the date of my original April post. It is of no matter. Since then I have seen the ROTS. To put it simply Mel Brooks doesn't need to come out with another Spaceballs movie because Star Wars makes enough fun of itself on its own. At any rate I am sorely disappointed with all the "new" movies and all of the "new" scores.
