It's more of an expansion of the DMC theme. Where the DMC variation of Beckett's theme introduced a simplistic harpsichord as its driving thematic idea, AWE introduces a more forefront melody, and the harpsichord is now relegated as the backdrop of such. You can hear that harpsichord idea if you listen closely enough in "Singapore," particularly at 1:31, and of course, in the whole of Parley"
