I've been reading some of the pro-Zimmer and anti-Zimmer rants on some message posts, and I've noticed how a certain percentage of people have complained about Christian's bias against Zimmer and how he elaborates on how dumb the new "Media Ventures" style is. I've personally have found most of the remarks quite amusing (including the "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" review) and comply that this Zimmer-esque style is getting old and quite overrated (for instance, The Dark Knight in no ways should be considered an excelling score. Can you truly compare it with Conan the Barbarian, Cutthroat Island, LotR or Star Wars?)
Even if Clemmensen's writings are a little too over-the-top, the vote tallies comply with most of these opinions. Just check the tally for this score. Many have written how they consider PotC 3 a superior score (I found it quite enjoyable too), but in the votes, those awarding it 5 or 4 stars are the minority. It's not as polarized as, say, "Transformers" with an approximately equal level of praise and scorn. The majority of readers awarded "At World's End" just 1 star.
So, when you start to rant about bias, fanboys or stupidity of either end, check the votes.
