Spider-Man 2 music |

Greetings to all!
I've recently acquired the new Music Inspired From Spider-Man 2. It's quite a lengthy album, but my main focus was the two Elfman songs in there: Spidey Suite and Doc Ock Suite (for the goodness of song titling!).
Anyway, here's my impressions of the first suite:
Most of the song is really like the last track of the first Spider-Man Score music (End Credits) which some alterations in the theme, mostly the removal of the Goblin theme and replaced with the Doc Ock theme.
The second suite was mainly played around the new Doc Ock theme, which is mainly a rather banging and nasty. Nasty, but not as creepy (or haunting) as the Green Goblin theme occasionally heard in the first movie.
Now that I've watch the whole new movie (Spider-Man 2 last Wednesday at the cinemas), I got to say the music is really Spider-Man 1 with a few changes and additions. Yet most of the themes are still the same from the first movie, either the main titles (with a bit modifications compared to the first one) or the action and drama/romance sequences. Really the same.
But it's still a great movie anyway!
Regards.

So you know, there was much strife during the wrting of the music. Also a lot of studio interfence came into place. Though possibly Danny was being lazy, most of the recylced music is due to late editing and other composers joining the film at short noticed. Basically, not completly Danny's fault.
