Hello,
Two pieces by E.S. Posthumus were used in the trailer, "Nineveh" and "Pompeii". Pieces of Elfman's "Planet of the Apes" score was also used (for when you first see Norman Osborn). The CD is damned hard to find...I worked on the team at Sony that did the trailer and TV spots and after hearing the music, I tried to get the CD. I think you can get it at www.wigshoprecords.com or something like that...Wigshop Records is their label.
Their music was also used in the trailer for "XXX". It's a cool CD for people who like that Latin chanting combined with techno (which I do) and there are some interesting Celtic-influenced pieces on it as well.
If you like that sort of music, check out the trailer for "El Crimen de Padre Amaro", a Sony Pictures Classics movie coming out soon. Great music and apparently it's from the film's score (no idea if it will be released or not).
