For those who complained about the poor sound quality, I strongly recommend you remove the sub-woofers from the trunk of your car and home stereo system; unless you're of the belief that the vibration from these equipments serve as an effective cure for cardiac-arrest, they are a waste of space and money.
Also, you might try adjusting the balance of your sound system, lowering the bass output to a medium setting should help improve the sound. Michael Giacchino's score carries a strong bass-line all of it's own, and doesn't need any outside help.
If neither of these things work, you might want to make an appointment with your doctor for a hearing test.
