dared, though beautiful

lemme put this straight first: Zimmer is my all time favorite music composer, so yes: I'm not really that objective

I have to admit that some of the tracks do lack in the extreme climaxes that Hans is capable of creating. This doesn't mean that they lack in musical composition and an awesome style! Without any doubt the superb piece called "Cameroon Borderpost" is one of the highlights of this OST. Again we may witness the talent of Hans Zimmer combined with the epic voice and chanting of Lebo M. Not to mention the excellent singing of Lisa Gerrard who is able to hypnotise with her voice for sure!

I'd say: if you are a Zimmer fan and you want more of what he did in the past with the Lion King and Gladiator - BUY IT! You won't regret it.
If you're just someone who is looking for an interesting soundtrack which keeps your attention with twists and turns, you'd better buy the Lion King or Gladiator, which contain music for a broader audience. This soundtrack is probably too indepth for your liking.

Nevertheless a masterpiece which again shows Zimmers' true talent. A MUST have for fans indeed...
