This review pretty much hit my opinion. But as many have pointed out, can you really blame the composer for the commercial release of the score? Is that not injust?

Also, when you mention that this does not deserve any awards, I must disagree with you. This year's two big score I believe are Avatar and Up. I believe both should recieve awards, however you must look at certain points. Up is completely original wherareas Avatar is simply another compilation of all of Horner's other award winning melodies. In terms with originality, does not Up deserve credit?

I believe that the awards should be split between the scores. Up is good and deserves many of the awards it recieves, but perhaps it should be recieving ALL of the awards it recieves as I fear the score may soon become overrated. Perhaps the oscar will decide this fate.
