This review convinced me to get this score. I've been meaning to check out more Rabin since Riley made me a playlist for winning one of his contests.

I also might watch the film again, since my dad owns the film (he was in the Air Force, so this type of film was right up his alley). I remember it not being great, but the subject matter and time period really interests me, so I'm willing to give it a second chance.

Wow, that's a high score. I don't remember much from the film other than thinking it was overrated (I think I preferred the other Penguin themed movie Surf's Up more at the time, but only saw each once). From what I recall of the score, it was more similar to his Ice Age work, which I found entertaining but nothing special overall.

There's a running joke that Adam Sandler only makes movies now to finance destination vacation trips for him and his friends, and I think Scott was doing the same thing here. My least favorite Scott film, just because it was the most forgettable and inconsequential work of his career (I've seen all his films except White Squall).
