Harry isn't the only example of a composer in this musical lineage with two very different work methodologies (more symphonic vs. more contemporary writing) - Henry Jackman is a clear descendant of this, despite never having worked for Harry - but he's probably the first example...the vanguard, in a way.

I'm reminded of prior board discussions of 'good JNH' and 'bad JNH'.

It is interesting that Fuqua, despite having a background as a music video director, doesn't usually make films that require a prominent role for original scores (or at least ones this community tends to like).
