That’s funny! I listened to this album for the first time yesterday and felt the exact same way. Lovely little piece!

“Crose Your EYES!”

„A Miraculous Recovery“ is a marvelous track; very melancholic, but the cello/piano duet is heart-rendingly beautiful. It‘s also one of those pieces that I‘d name if asked how my personality would sound in musical terms. The faux!Slavic opening and ending is borderline annoying, however.

I believe the main theme from Tom Thumb makes a very Horneresque appearance here (“Fate” on CD 2). Really took me by surprise when I first head it.
