When I decided on Shore for my next Journey I remembered you and Riley had gone through the Cronenberg films semi-recently. Was wondering if my takes would cause Vietnam flashbacks for either of y'all... O.K, mainly Riley.

It's the quintessential "oh, his style was there from the beginning" offering that doesn't amount to much outside of historical importance. That sounded meaner than I meant for it to....

As I mentioned, the Main Title is really the only piece I'd ever return to while everything else Shore would do better later on. Then again irritating electronic textures or music is something I despise no matter the genre, so in that way it tracks for me.

Haha, wow. Yeah, I'd rather have Scanners without the obnoxious bite, thankyouverymuch. Videodrome is probably best described as a "mood piece", honestly, but I dug it. Now, if you asked me to hum something from it I probably couldn't, but then again that's not *always* the sign of a good score. I do understand where you're coming from, though, in preferring something that's more memorable (to you) than something that's not.

Thanks! The rest of the series will have more variety than just Cronenberg collaborations, so hopefully we'll agree more in the future.
