If memory from over a decade (!!!!) ago serves, there are a few generic "heroic navy" cues that are serviceable but pretty much everything to do with the aliens or battles (which is like, 95% or more of the score) is irritating to the point of obnoxious. The film's a laughable overly self-serious affair as well with Liam Neeson clearly on set for like, a day or two and mostly just standing around a nice little battleship control room set.
