My take on this whole thing was very "middle of the road" nearly 5 (?!!?) years ago. When I saw the film finally a year or two ago my opinion was basically the same though probably would bump my original rating up by a full point. It's definitely one of Balfe's best live-action film scores and despite the jerk move by McQuarrie, is a lot of fun in a "Nu-Zimmer take on M:I" kinda way.

Oh, also can't wait until you hear Hurricane Heist which is arguably FAR worse than 12 Strong. It's also one of a couple of reviews I did that got Balfe pissed off at me on Twitter. tongue
