This is a five-star review for a score that's SHOWSTOPPING ALL TIME GREAT AMAZING MINDBLOWING SIX STARS INFINITY STARS - *ahem*

This is an amazing score, and you did an incredible job saying why. I could be mistaken, but is this the only single-score installment of your rundown? You certainly waste no space, and detail exactly why this score is such an amazing accomplishment while avoiding breathless praise. I can't quite describe it, but it's so impressive how you're analyzing it while still making clear your love for it. (As opposed to me, opening my commentary-commentary with a fangasm lol)

That Powell & co. delivered this under such conditions is amazing. It was obviously less fraught than Giacchino's crunch effort for Rogue One, but for Powell to blend his own style and Williams' is such an accomplishment. It is indelibly him and one of his best (and definitely is, outside of the HTTYD series, arguably) and also sounds a lot like Williams. I simply must revisit it soon.

Hah, good to know that even the industry's greatest composers struggle with deadlines.
