Watched the film, then listened to the score, and I think this has a very realistic chance of getting an Oscar nomination. Personally one of my favorites of the year.

The score is brilliant; bascially what Jon Broxton said in his Deadline concert post about it being English. The music seems to mainly carry the audience through Oliver's mental state in each scene, and it gets full marks for that. I really hope Anthony Willis gets other gigs apart from his strong partnership with Emerald Fennell after this score.

But one thing that put me off the most (not necessarily a bad thing, though) is how similar the climatic cue sounds when compared to Philip Glass' Mishima. Definitely temped, but eh, it works wonderfully in the scene and the album.

Has anyone else wathced the film? What did they think of the score?
