Thanks for the encouragement, Vik! I mostly just say that as a kind of joke for when I get my review out for a new work and most of the initial hubbub has died down, so I'm "late". tongue

Speaking solely for myself, it's a case where the writing/orchestrations elevate what might have been a lower ranking score purely based on thematic regurgitation. Also mulling it over I thought "if I gave Bloodlines 3/5 for being well written but not terribly memorable, then I guess Final Reckoning should be *slightly* higher". At least that's how my mind worked in this case....
