I usually agree with the ratings and reviews that you give to soundtracks, but I have a problem with the way that you criticized this one. First you say that Hans Zimmer's role in producing Gladiator almost sunk the album because of the electronics that he used. Then when he tries something different in Batman Begins, you criticize. Personally, I thought it was a great score for the beginning of Batman. It was a different score for a different kind of Batman. Why should he use the same old Batman score that Elfman used when this is a different kind of Batman? It would only make sense to use a different score. I also enjoyed the fact that it wasn't loud and obnoxious like so many scores are becoming these days. Perhaps the fact that I am younger and wasn't fond of the original Batman films influenced my preference, but I know that after hearing the same old score millions of times it gets annoying for listeners, unless it's a film like Star Wars where the old score is expected to be in there some where. However, even John Williams introduced new music for the prequels to the saga. So why wouldn't it have made sense for Hans Zimmer to do the same with the beginning of Batman?
