Thank you! When Christian mentioned an Alien quote, I was a bit astonished that I had missed it since I've been listening to it quite often lately. After a while, I figured the Trumpet solo was the only thing that came anywhere near the ballpark of the Alien theme, but until seeing this I wasn't really sure. I don't think I would have ever thought about that theme being from Alien, even if I was researching heavily since all it is is a 3-note interval pattern that matches one in of the middle of the theme so I definitely agree that it's not from Alien. Just seems an effective theme for Bruce's grief written in a way that suggests it will never resolve. *shrug* My little thinkey-thoughties for what they're worth.
