Is this a joke? What does this have anything to do with the score for the movie? Had you seen the movie, which I suspect you didn't, you would realize that that the inherent message of the movie is that those who love will always be attacked by those who hate and mask their hatred behind the cloak of righteousness. Jesus would be ashamed of you. As for the score itself, I found it simple yet effective. In particular, the track Brokeback Mountain 3 which occurs right after the now famous "I wish I could quit you" line is beautiful and emotionally devastating. You believe whatever you choose to believe. Me, I'll side with love.
