I'd have been much more positive and given it **** but that's just me and my Powell love talking and I can understand why an unbiased review would give this three. "Bull Run" is indeed the best cue, though I'd throw an honorable mention to the ultra-awesome ostinato figures in "Rooftops". Nobody writes those like Powell does.
Oh, and hey, you mentioned Mr. and Mrs. Smith, so can we hope for a forthcoming review there?

I totally agree, if this is the lesser cousin then I really want to see what you write about Mr.and Mrs. Smith. Especially the cue Assassin's Tango.

The Assassin's Tango is great, but I actually like Knight and Day more overall. It has more action-oriented highlights and is a more robust score in my opinion.

I agree, but I also share a biased love for Powell's scores. I also agree that this is a stronger overall score than Mr and Mrs Smith, and I listen to this an awful lot more. The Bull Run is awesome, plus I love the more down-tempo moments such as the last track.
I like rating scores out of 10, and I think I would reward this one around 7.5 or 8 / 10, can't quite decide...
Great score though!
