• Now Playing: The Monkey King - Young

Some Christopher Young today. Going with the double feature of "The Monkey King" and "The Monkey King 2". Really love both these scores. I think I like the first one a tiny bit more, but really it usually switches each time I listen to these two. Great stuff. I really wish he had a chance to score the third film, to round out the trilogy of awesome fantasy adventure music.

What are you listening to?

Yeah, what a strange composer pivot for the last entry.

If people haven't had enough of Leo Birenberg and Zach Robinson with all of their Cobra Kai albums, the second season album for their show, Twisted Metal, was just released.

It's very Cobra Kai-like: fun, epic, over-the-top, creative. There's even a few tracks of synthwave in there.

Highly recommended.
