I'm such a Kong music fanboy, I recall pretty much crying when Jackman was announced for the project. I love the film so much, and was really surprised by how I took to the score. Sure, it's not Steiner, Ifukube, Barry, Scott, Howard, but he acquitted himself very well. Probably my favorite score by Jackman, and something I return to.

And The Predator is right up there with it. Such a great callback to Silvestri, and a super fun action score. I had fun with the film, didn't understand all the negativity. At least it seemed way better than the failed attempt by Robert Rodriguez. Idk.

King's Men GC was great in the film, but I seemed less enamored with it as a standalone. Of course the following Lewis score for The King's Man absolutely nails it.
