> Top-notch effort, Jon (I find 'effort' an odd word to use here, but that might be due to a language-barrier issue). These retrospectives are among the best I've read anywhere in my 20+ years of being online. Wish I had your gift of coherency and eloquence! big grin

Thanks! And effort is definitely acceptable in this context.

> Once you're 'done' (although it well turn out to be an on-going undertaking, coz these guys probably won't stop writing scores anytime soon), you ought to get this all put together and printed.

It'll end at some point this year...right? HAHAHA. 2020 scores are mostly written about, and I genuinely think I'll be done with 2022 scores by June at the latest. 2023 scores are a question mark, and it'll depend on how many of consequence there are by then. I am secretly hoping there are none.

Like Robert's set of series and my now-neglected Goldsmith Collection Expansion Chronicles, there could be follow-ups from time to time. Dune Part 2 (Twune?) looms in the distance, taunting me.

If this does get 'published' (and the thought has crossed both my mind and my wife's, even if only as a flight of fancy), perspectives on anything earlier than 1997 probably need massive revisions, and even anything pre-POTC needs significant work. I've gotten much better at writing these than I was in March, and I can understand why Christian did a bunch of rewrites years ago cuz it's very easy to cringe at your older reviews.

It's a good thing I didn't write about Solo first, in other words.

> I may, with your permission, print it out for my own private use and putting it on my shelf in a binder or something...)

I can live with that.
