Powell to me is a bit like Desplat in that he usually lands around the 3.5 range - better than solid, I'm rarely disappointed, and I can understand where the love comes from, but I don't often share it. I'm guessing I'm one of the only people that didn't include a Powell score in my top 5 from the 2010s. Still, no denying your top 3.
