> Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) - *½
Yeah, that's fair. I'd give it **1/2 for a couple reasons. The first few minutes of "Mermaids" are absolutely incredible, and the action that follows is great. That stuff is *****. Why Zimmer decided to use material from AWE in a spot that made zero sense is confusing though. "Angelica" is also a lot of fun, and "Palm Tree Escape"/"End Credits" are at least familiar and sit well in the sonic world of the Pirates scores. But yeah, a shocking step down after the masterpiece of AWE, and the less said about the remixes, the better. By far the worst Pirates score.

> Your Highness (2011) - ***½
I've wanted to check this one out for a while now. Will have to do that.

> Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011) - ****½
I love this score so much. Such a blast, and "Zen Ball Master" is one of my favorite Powell cues ever.

Off to Slovakia we go, dear Watson!
