Excellent write up as usual but SIIIIIIGH. Just cannot understand the vitriol for Stranger Tides. Disappointment, I can get, but outright hatred? With some people saying it’s the WORST score Zimmer EVER did?!

Fuck that noise. It’s fun. It’s loads of fun. You get enjoyable rehashes of fun Pirates stuff, you get a little bit of fun new stuff, you get some fun action stuff (though mostly on the complete bootleg), and above all you get really fun acoustic guitar stuff. Even if someone thinks this is all easy and lazy (which admittedly it kinda is) how that warrants 1.5 stars or a fuckin Frissbee just boggles my mind, and it shall do so forever.
