Been a while since I listened to North's "Spartacus". Picked up the album about a decade ago, and it's one that I revisit infrequently. North is a composer that I appreciate more than like. He does some interesting and even engaging stuff. But his scores never quite resonate with me. I usually find his work more interesting in the ways that Goldsmith seemed to take inspiration from it.
