Re: Probably the most simplistic score I ever heard... First, you dont know much about music do you? You dont need to compose Bruckner´s 8th symphony to do the musical analysis of a piece and judge its merits.
Second, Zimmer built a career in the same way figures like Britney Spear and Shakira built careers (yes, I know they are even worst). Dont you dare say that career and sucess are synonyms of quality.
