Varèse Sarabande released the score commercially three times between
1987 and 1994, and all of them are out of print and considered collectible. The first 1987
volume was long the most desirable, and the second 1987 volume was generally the most
affordable. The 1994 combination album often fell in between. All of them sold for between
$30 and $50, with occasional spikes in prices.
The 2021 Varèse set was limited to 1,500 copies and available digitally and on CD
at an initial price of $25 through soundtrack specialty outlets. The CD sold out within
six months and tripled in price on the secondary market shortly thereafter.
